LOYALTY CLUBS

Loyalty clubs are becoming big business.
The concept was given a nudge a few years ago, when Woolworths and Coles introduced an incentive points system built around store purchases, and giving rewards, such as free airline flights, once a certain volume of points had been accumulated.
Loyalty clubs have been credited as being the major force in encouraging consumers to shop at a single retail outlet exclusively. It has proved highly successful, and is winning increased market shares for major retailers.

Many loyalty clubs are managed externally, including pharmacy loyalty clubs.
Computachem Services is able to provide this service to both "bricks and mortar" sites and online sites. More importantly, we are able to do both simultaneously, and manage up to 20 different clubs at one time.

We are also able to provide the management tools to a client so that loyalty clubs can be managed in house.

While these are still essentially "loyalty clubs", they tend to involve smaller, but specialised groups of consumers, who will bind themselves to you on the basis of service, rather than price. Price is still important for these consumers, and has to be competitive, but it takes second consideration to service.

For all the above reasons, we prefer the marketing name of "Friendship Exchange" instead of "loyalty club" as it better typifies our approach to this most important marketing activity.
